Dentist
Dr. Kurt Rider
​Dr. Rider grew up in the Indianapolis area and graduated from Brebeuf High School. He attended Indiana University for undergraduate and University of Louisville for dental school. He and his wife Carley (a graduate of North Central High School and IU alum also) share three young children- Silas, Sawyer and Sloane. Dr. Rider practices a comprehensive approach to dentistry. He believes patient experience is as significant as quality dental work. He has completed extensive training in implants, surgical extractions and dentures. Dr. Rider is a graduate of the Dawson Academy, a postgraduate educational and clinical research program. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
Hygienist
Betsy
Betsy graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 1999. She has
a background in both nursing and the arts (art history and painting).
She loves to read and delights in power walking in the great
outdoors. It is her personal belief that every patient should
be treated like family and given her best. Betsy's nurturing
and compassionate nature shines through in
her work and the way she cares for patients. Her passion for
wellness and attention to detail creates a thorough and
holistic cleaning. Her joyful demeanor makes your appointment
a pleasant experience.
Assistant
Elaina
Elaina, a native of Indianapolis, began her career in dentistry in
1998 . She has a passion for health and fitness, receiving
her diploma in complementary and alternative health in 2020.
Her wellness knowledge provides patients with a dental experience
that factors in their entire well being. Elaina has two wonderful girls,
a fourth grader and a high schooler. Her hobbies include enjoying
the outdoors, reading, and fitness. Giving patient's the confidence
to smile again motivates her to be her best, and we are so thankful
for all she brings to the Rider Family Dentistry team. She keeps us
laughing, inspired to be our best, focused, and caffeinated.
Office Coordinator
Cheryl
A graduate of Anderson University and PCI Dental Assisting School,
Cheryl has been in the dental field for over 30 years. Her experience
and knowledge is a gift that keeps the office running smoothly. She
loves seeing how advancements in dentistry over the course of
her career have enhanced the patient experience. In her free time
Cheryl enjoys movies, reading, streaming and walking. She is a
true blue Colts fan, Go Colts! Her warm and welcoming presence
sets the tone for your visit.
